    Hi there

My name is Natalie Leveille. I have been liaising extensively with Canadian Crossroads International about working with you as an Accounting System Developer, but it occurred to me that so far I know very little about the resources and the people at ProLink!! As a first step, I though it would be nice to introduce myself, so that in turn you can tell me more about yourselves.

Although I currently live in France, I grew up on the east coast of Canada (New Brunswick). Because I left my country quite a long time ago, I sometimes find it a bit difficult to explain where I’m from! I will probably always think of myself as Canadian but one advantage of leaving is that it has allowed me to better appreciate different points of view. I come from a long line of educators and I really believe that education is also about learning from other people.

In my professional experience, I have spent many years working on “how to improve processes”. That probably sounds quite vague, and it is! Sometimes it was necessary to develop entirely new reporting tools, and sometimes the tools already existed but no one had very good training on them… At the moment, I am working with a company who has extraordinarily bright people, who do all their work in their heads… This is a big worry, because if the company lost just one person, it would be difficult for work to continue. My current project requires their knowledge of the business, and my knowledge of systems – it’s very challenging, but through a bit of trial and error, we are getting close to having something that will be really useful for them. I think whatever the situation at ProLink, the best results always come when the right people are involved, so I hope that in my time there we will be able to do some good work!

I know this is a short introduction, but I would be very interested to find out a bit about the team I will be working with. If you have any questions for me, I would be happy to answer. If you have skype, we could set up a time to meet virtually if that is easier.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Warm regards,

    Natalie Leveille, ACMA
